Declaration

In semester 1 of my poetry of song class, I chose to use struggle and inspiration in rap, for my theme-genre combination. I chose these in particular because I enjoy listening to the words, and beats of the individual songs. Rap, ex specially underground rap is my favorite style of rap because to me it is the most meaningful and rhythmic style of songs out their. Most rapping involves different struggles, and inspiring versus that intrigue my mind compared to the traditional rock, or country song. To me the rap genre is the easiest form of song to become immersed in, and really allows you to feel the full effect of what the artist is trying to portray. Without rap I wouldn't be who I am today, rap really defines my respect for artists all accross the world.
